What we run for you
Fully managed IT covers all seven. Co-managed IT covers the parts your in-house team wants help with.
Your team emails support@bostonmit.com, uses the client portal, or calls. A named engineer who knows your setup answers, and most issues are fixed remotely while people keep working. Anything complex goes to a senior engineer.
What you get
Monitoring and management software runs on every computer. We patch Windows, macOS, and common applications on a schedule, keep endpoint security current, and set every new device up to the same standard.
What you get
We run your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace: users, licenses, email, file sharing, and Teams or Meet. Sign-ins are protected with multi-factor authentication, and on Microsoft 365 with Conditional Access through Entra ID.
What you get
Firewalls, switches, and wireless are monitored and maintained. When the internet goes down, we call your provider and stay on it until it is fixed. When something needs hands, we come on site from Waltham.
What you get
Workstation and server backups are priced per device, so you only pay for what needs protecting. Every backup is monitored, a failed job raises an alert to an engineer, and restores are tested.
What you get
Endpoint security, managed detection and response (MDR), patching, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace hardening are part of fully managed IT. DNS filtering, email security, awareness training, and logging are add-ons with published prices.
What you get
We keep a hardware lifecycle list, review licensing, plan security improvements, and coordinate your other technology vendors, so the budget conversation has numbers behind it.

In Boston
Our office is at 282 Moody Street in Waltham, about 11 miles from downtown Boston. Most requests are fixed remotely, with a median email first response of 12 minutes. When a network, an office move, or new hardware needs hands, an engineer comes to you, in the city or anywhere in Greater Boston.
Boston clients tend to need three things: compliance that holds up for law firms, financial advisors, and healthcare practices; networks that work in older and multi-floor buildings; and secure access for staff who move between home, the train, and the office. Our managed IT services cover all three, at one published price per user.

vCIO add-on
For fully managed clients who want technology planned at the leadership level. Quoted per client, based on the size and complexity of your business.
Not included
Computers, network gear, and software licenses are billed at cost or passed through. We help you buy the right thing.
Office moves, migrations, and network refreshes are scoped up front and billed at $165 per hour.
Every client gets best-effort help after hours. Guaranteed after-hours response times come with the After-Hours Critical Support add-on.
Onboarding depends on the size and state of your environment, so it is scoped and quoted before you sign.
How support works
A named engineer answers, with a median email first response of 12 minutes. Most issues are fixed remotely, complex ones go to a senior engineer, and we come on site when it needs hands. Everything is documented, so coverage never depends on one person.
