Infrastructure and on-site

The network, the hardware, and someone at your door when it needs hands.

Firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, servers, backups, and office moves, run by the same engineers who answer your help desk. On site across Greater Boston from our Waltham office.

What we run

Everything under your desks and in the closet.

Part of fully managed IT. Co-managed clients choose the pieces their in-house team wants help with.

Network

Firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Devices are monitored, firmware is kept current, and configurations are backed up and documented, so a failed firewall is a swap, not a rebuild from memory.

Servers and storage

File servers and on-premises or hybrid systems, patched and monitored with the rest of your environment. Your first server is included in fully managed IT.

Backup and recovery

Workstation and server backups are monitored. A failed backup alerts an engineer, and restores are tested, so you find out a backup works before you need it.

Cloud and Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, file shares moved to the cloud, and hybrid setups when keeping something on site is the right call.

Your vendors

When the internet goes down, we call your provider and stay on it until it is fixed. Phone carriers, printers, and line-of-business software vendors too.

Hardware lifecycle

A lifecycle list of every device and when it is due for replacement, so replacements are planned and budgeted instead of discovered when something dies.

On site

When remote is not enough, we come out.

Most issues are fixed remotely, which is faster for everyone. When something needs hands, an engineer who already knows your environment comes on site. On-site visits across Greater Boston are included in the monthly price.

  • Hardware installs and device deployment
  • Network troubleshooting that needs someone at the rack
  • New hire setups and equipment swaps
  • Emergency response when remote support is not enough
  • Office moves and new locations (scoped as a project)

Projects

Scoped first, then $165 per hour.

Office moves and new locations

Relocation planning, ISP setup, structured cabling coordination, rack installs, and a working office on day one.

Network refresh

Replacing aging firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi, designed for how your office actually works.

Migrations

Email and files to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, servers to the cloud, or a hybrid of both.

Disaster recovery planning

Backup design, recovery targets, and a written recovery plan you can hand to an auditor or insurer.

Nonprofits pay $150 per hour. Hardware and software licenses are billed separately. Workstation and server backups are priced per device on the pricing page.

Questions

What people ask about infrastructure.

What infrastructure do you support?

Servers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and cloud environments, whether you run on premises, hybrid, or fully in the cloud.

Are on-site visits included?

Yes. On-site visits across Greater Boston are included in the monthly price for managed clients. Most issues are fixed remotely; when something needs hands, an engineer comes out from our Waltham office. Projects such as office moves are scoped and billed separately.

What does a project like an office move cost?

Projects are scoped up front and billed at $165 per hour ($150 for nonprofits). You see the scope before any work starts.

How do you keep systems running?

Monitoring runs around the clock, backups are monitored with tested restores, and every configuration is documented. Every client gets best-effort after-hours response; guaranteed after-hours response comes with the After-Hours Critical Support add-on.
